Using the fixed point method, the authors prove the stability of the functional equation NEWLINE\[NEWLINEf(x + y) - f(-x- y) - f(x) + f(-x) - 4f(y) + f(2y) = 0NEWLINE\]NEWLINE in random normed spaces. They also investigate the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of the above quadratic-additive functional equation in the framework of normed spaces.
