The paper under review is a survey paper that contains of two parts. The first part is about primary decomposition. After reviewing the basic definitions, the author survey the compatibility, independence, and linear growth properties. Then, he proves the linear growth property of primary decomposition for a new family of modules. In the second part he studies secondary representation, which can be viewed as a dual of primary decomposition.
