Motivated by \textit{J. Gravesen}'s method [Comput. Geom. 8, No. 1, 13--31 (1997; Zbl 1133.65301)] the authors present here arc-length estimations for the quadratic rational Bézier curve reproducing the arc-length of special shapes. It is shown that the authors' estimations coincide with the arc-length of the quadratic rational Bézier curve exactly, for certain values of the weight.
