This mathematical model of cells takes into account changes of the cell volume and changes of the number of potassium, sodium and chlorine ions as well as organic anions, induced by transmembrane flows of water and ions through the corresponding channels and cotransporters. The model is described by a system of ordinary differential equations. The membrane area is assumed constant. The transmembrane electric potential is calculated on the ground of total in-cell charge values with respect to the membrane specific capacity.
