This paper is devoted to the study of the formation of nanostructures on the surface of solids under laser pulse irradiation. The distribution function is supposed to depend on the coordinates. The temperature field is determined here by linear approximation of the Biot variational principle. The crystal growth is assumed to be governed by accretion of single atoms through the potential barrier.
