Hydrodynamic instability at mid-latitudes of the Earth caused by the rotation of the planet (English)

The authors develop a model which describes two areas of hydrodynamic instability at mid-latitudes of the Earth caused by the rotation of the planet. The model is theoretically validated and variations of inertia momentum of rotating planet as a function of geocentric latitude. Calculations are performed both for homogeneous and for layered density distribution models.
