The author rectifies earlier developed theory of focus of a tectonic earthquake evolution in the contact area of colliding platforms. Here the same approach is used to find the energy balance in the focus. Which part of the elastic stress-strain state is transformed into seismic waves and which part is spent on destruction of soil and is released as heat.
