The authors consider pseudo-complete locally convex algebras and prove that the extended spectrum \(\Sigma (x)\) of an element \(x\) is a subset of its Allan spectrum, and both spectra coincide in case \(\Sigma(x)\) is closed. They also show that for complete algebras both spectral radii coincide and they compare them with some other spectral radii.
