Jan Vilém Pexider (1874--1914) (Q2904636)

(1997; Zbl 0989.00008)] which is the Czech original of this English translation. The English version appears to include the same material (articles by various authors, bibliography, illustrations) as the original edition except that reprints of three short articles by Pexider published in 1905 are omitted. Also, the article dealing with the appearance of Pexider's name in MathSciNet and zbMATH has been shortened. The translation reads smoothly and should help to extend the awareness of this interesting person who contributed to functional equations.
