Sufficient conditions of stability for nonlinear systems with impulse effect (English)

An approach developed earlier by the first author for ordinary differential equations [Differ. Uravn. 14, 1124--1127 (1978; Zbl 0432.34029)] is extended to equations with impulsive effect. Theorems on sufficient conditions for asymptotic stability and instability are formulated in terms of the properties of piece-wise differentiable Lyapunov functions. A proof of the theorem on asymptotic stability is given in detail. An illustrative example is presented.
