On the spectra of almost periodic symmetric positive definite matrices functions (English)

Let \(A(t)\) be a matrix valued function that is almost periodic and symmetric positive definite, for all real numbers \(t\). The main goal of this note is to show that the eigenvalues of \(A(t)\) are also almost periodic functions. The author claims that this fact is widely accepted but as far as he knows, there is no proof in the literature. Some properties of exterior powers are used to prove the result.
