On abstract Barenblatt equations (Q2908576)

The authors consider the deterministic and the stochastic abstract problem of Barenblatt's type. In the deterministic case, the equation has the form \(f(\partial_tu)+Au=g\), where \(f\) and \(A\) are maximal monotone operators and \(A\) derives from a potential \(J\). The existence of a solution was proved under general assumptions on the operators by passing to the limit in a time-discretization scheme. In the stochastic case, the authors extend the existence result by weakening assumptions on the data and considering both additive and multiplicative noise.
