Deformation of \(f\)-tilings versus deformation of isometric foldings (English)

The authors consider the Hausdorff metric on spherical \(f\)-tilings on \(S^2\). The article brings some relations between deformation of spherical isometric foldings and deformation of spherical \(f\)-tilings. Deformation movements on the set of spherical \(f\)-tilings are described. It is shown that the deformation of \(f\)-tilings does not induce a continuos deformation on associated isometric foldings.
