Common fixed point theorems in fuzzy metric spaces (English)

In this paper, the authors proves some common fixed point theorems for occasionally weakly compatible maps on fuzzy metric spaces. The concept of occasionally weakly compatible mappings was given by \textit{M. A. Al-Thagafi} and \textit{N. Shahzad} [Acta Math. Sin., Engl. Ser. 24, No. 5, 867--876 (2008; Zbl 1175.41026)]. For multivalued mappings, it is a weaker condition than weakly compatible mappings, but for single valued maps, the condition of occasionally weakly compatible mappings reduces to weak compatibility in the presence of a unique point of coincidence and a unique common fixed point of the given maps. Thus, for the occasionally weakly compatible mappings in the setting of single valued mappings, the reader may also consult [\textit{D. ฤoric}, \textit{Z. Kadelburg} and \textit{S. Radenovic}, ``A note on occasionally weakly compatible mappings and common fixed points'', Fixed Point Theory 13, No. 2, 475--480 (2012)].
