Photon creation -- annihilation. Continuum electromagnetic theory (English)

This book seems to propose an approach to the emission of photons by electrons, which is drastically different from the commonly adopted theories of the modern theoretical physics. The authors claim that the standard modern theory cannot answer fundamental questions concerning the nature of photons and electrons, and they propose their own approach, which is based on a non-orthodox version of quantum mechanics, and quantum theory in general, which the authors believe to be compatible with classical physics (``classical-based quantum theory''). The book states (somewhat implicitly) that it proposes a better and more insightful description of fundamental problems of the light-matter interactions than the commonly adopted physical theories, which are based on the orthodox quantum mechanics and electrodynamics.
