It is shown how one could consider a matter fluid on Minkowski spacetime, generating a gravitational field which is encoded in a curved Weyl connection which is compatible with the flat Minkowski metric. The authors investigate how the system behaves from the viewpoint of its stress tensors and its relation to conservation laws and geodesics. The relation between the conservation of the number of particles is related to the conservation of the energy-momentum tensor.
