Following the approach to ultradistributions by \textit{G. Björck} [Ark. Mat. 6, 351-407 (1966; Zbl 0166.36501)], the author introduces generalized Bessel potential spaces \(L^{p, \, loc}_{s,\omega}\) and \(L^{p, \, c}_{s,\omega}\), where \(\omega\) is a weight as in the above mentioned paper. Results on regularity of the solutions of the equation \(P(D)u=f\) when the datum \(f\) belongs to the generalized Bessel potential spaces are given.
