\textit{P. Masani} introduced the notion of propagator [in: Probab. Theory on Vector Spaces, Proc. Conf. Trzebieszowice 1977, Lect. Notes Math. 656, 95--117 (1978; Zbl 0388.46017)].NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEIn the paper under review the authors try to transpose the conditions of the existence of propagators for kernels on *-semigroups.NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEFor an admisible semigroup \(Z\) and a \(Z\)-valued kernel the authors recall some definitions: the boundedness condition, the \(q\)-boundedness condition and the continuity condition.NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEThen, they give a few additional observations concerning pseudo-Hilbert representations of *-semigroups.NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINENEWLINEFinally, they present some properties of propagators for positive definite kernels on semigroups and dilations for kernels on *-semigroups.
