Two-grid algorithms for linear and nonlinear elliptic problems based on HSS iteration method (English)
0 references
This paper is devoted to the Hermitian/skew-Hermitian (HSS) iteration method which is used for the solution of an either linear or nonlinear nonsymmetric elliptic problem in two-dimensional domains. The solution is based on a two-level algorithm. The nonlinear nonsymmetric system is reduced to two linear systems on the fine level and the original system on the coarse level. The convergence of the algorithm is analyzed for both linear and nonlinear systems. The performance of the algorithms is demonstrated on the solution of the convection-diffusion problem or the viscous Burgers' equation.
