Monotonic random walk on a one-dimensional lattice (English)

The authors continue the study of the Markov model of motion introduced by them in [J. Concr. Appl. Math. 9, No. 4, 290--303 (2011; Zbl 1235.60087)]. Here, they consider a limit case of that model, in which the number of cells is large. This is supposed to describe the motion of particles (vehicles) on a one-dimensional lattice. The average velocity of particles is found.
