The existence of entire solutions of nonlinear cellular neural networks with distributed time delays (DCNN) is considered. The authors combine the leftward and rightward travelling fronts whose existence is shown in \textit{Z.-X. Yu} et al. [J. Differ. Equations 251, No. 3, 630--650 (2011; Zbl 1228.34122)] with different speeds and a spatially independent solution to construct some new entire solutions. Moreover, some qualitative features of the entire solutions are also investigated.
