The authors consider the Diophantine system NEWLINE\[NEWLINE x_1^k+x_2^k+x_3^k+x_4^k=y_1^k+y_2^k+y_3^k+y_4^k, \quad \text{for}\; k=1,2,4,5.NEWLINE\]NEWLINE By making clever substitutions they find parametric solutions to this system. By an intensive computer search they find further solutions not covered by their parametric solutions.
