The aim of the present paper is to study the analogous metric theory of Diophantine approximation on homogeneous varieties of semisimple algebraic groups and especially analogues of Khintchine's theorem and Jarník's theorem for homogeneous varieties. The authors managed to study more generally simultaneous Diophantine approximation with respect to several completions as well as approximations over number fields by \(S\)-algebraic integers.
