Harmonic analysis on groups: sampling theorems and discrete Fourier transforms (English)

There are four sections in this paper. The first one and the last one are ``Introduction'' and ``Comments and applications'', respectively. The titles of the intermediate two sections characterize the contents almost completely: ``Fourier analysis and sampling theorems on abelian groups: a survey'' and ``Noncommutative harmonic analysis: coherent states, frames and discretization''. It is somewhat strange that the authors being frequent guests on the pages of J. Fourier Anal. Appl. did not pay attention and did not refer to the related survey [J. Fourier Anal. Appl. 17, No. 2, 320--354 (2011; Zbl 1213.94027)] by \textit{P. L. Butzer} et al.
