In the eternal inflation scenario, an infinite number of bubble universes with either de Sitter or anti de Sitter vacua are created. The anti de Sitter bubbles collapse rapidly. In this scenario it has proved challenging to argue that the natural conditions for getting correctly the primordial perturbations are predominant. A modification to this scenario has been proposed based on the fact that quantum gravity corrections may lead the collapsing anti de Sitter bubbles to ``bounce''. This alters the measures of initial conditions and may make more favorable the emergence of primordial perturbations of correct physical nature. However, it might be the case that after the bounce the anti de Sitter universe recollapses again. This paper shows that due to the amplification of the field fluctuations, the bubble universe going through anti de Sitter cycles will fragment leading to a number of additional bubble universes. This will help eternal inflation populate the whole landscape, wherever it happens initially.
