Coupled fixed point theorems in uniform spaces and applications (English)

In this paper, the theory of coupled fixed points is extended to the setting of gauge spaces and for the case of operators satisfying a contraction type condition involving a comparison function. An application to a nonlinear integral equation on the positive semi-axis is also given.
