Mathematical simulation of helical flux compression generator physics (English)

Spiral magnetocumulative generators (MCG) are often used as resources for strong impulses of a current and intensities of a magnetic field. The numerical method of calculation of MCG resistance on the base of a nonlinear magnetic diffusion is proposed. Test calculations using the two-dimensional model of MCG show a good agreement with experiments for small and large heating of conductors.
