\textit{J. N. Ridley} and \textit{G. Petruska} [Indag. Math., New Ser. 11, No. 2, 273--282 (2000; Zbl 0989.11006)] introduced the notion of the error-sum function along with its graph in terms of regular-continued-fraction-expansions, and determined an upper bound of the corresponding Hausdorff dimension. Further, plenty of other researchers extend the above results to Lüroth series.NEWLINENEWLINE In the present paper, the authors generalize the above for the case of \(\alpha\)-Lüroth-series expansions, and study the corresponding error-sum functions.
