By making use of a new class of operators, the purpose of this paper is to establish some existence results of the solution for an extended general variational inequality already considered in the literature. As application, a new coincidence point theorem in a Hilbert space setting is also proposed.NEWLINENEWLINEThe results proposed in this paper are new and extend, improve and unify the corresponding results in this field.
