The author continues the research published in [the author, Appl. Math. Comput. 219, No. 4, 2026--2034 (2012; Zbl 1297.54094)], where the continuation principle has been used to obtain the existence of a fixed point (coincidence point) for the end-point of a homotopy. Here, the connected branch of fixed points (coincidence points) along the homotopy is examined. A multivalued essentiality is the main tool in the proofs.
