On exponential stability of Volterra difference equations with infinite delay (English)

The authors present a new approach to global exponential stability of nonlinear Volterra difference equations with infinite delay. The approach is based on the Perron-Frobenius theorem and the comparison principle. A new explicit criterion is obtained for global exponential stability of the zero solution of the general time-varying Volterra difference equation with infinite delay. Furthermore, an explicit stability bound for equations subject to nonlinear time-varying perturbations is given. Two examples are given to illustrate the main results.
