Refined fully explicit a posteriori residual-based error control (English)
0 references
The authors introduce a new explicit residual-based a posteriori error estimator in the context of finite element analysis of second order linear elliptic boundary value problems. The main ingredient in constructing the estimator is the concept of equilibrated fluxes. The estimator contains explicit constants and slightly refines the error control obtained by \textit{A. Veeser} and \textit{R. Verfuert} [SIAM J. Numer. Anal. 47, No. 3, 2387--2405 (2009; Zbl 1195.65158)].
