The author investigates some of the recent progress in the study the of gauge theory on Calabi-Yau threefolds. First, the author reviews the Chern-Simons functional of complexes of Behrend-Getzler. Explicit constructions of CS-charts for the complexes that are resolutions of sheaves are presented. The construction shows the extendability to cover a large class of gluable complexes.
