2D Coulomb gas, Abrikosov lattice and renormalized energy (English)
0 references
This review paper deals with some problems related to the study of the Ginzburg-Landau system arising in superconductivity theory. There are given several results describing phenomena in a two-dimensional Coulomb gas that consists of \(n\) particles with logarithmic Coulomb interaction in a confining potential. The results included in this paper include a connection with the Abrikosov lattice and an asymptotic analysis of the partition function. The final part of this paper is concerned with the renormalized energy for random point processes.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 1279.00048].
