Homogenization of materials with sign changing coefficients (Q305085)

The authors look into averaging questions for periodic composites made of a suitable mixture of ``classical'' materials and ``meta''-materials. The route taken is the one of periodic homogenization, while the main ingredients include the so-called \(T\)-coercivity and the more standard periodic unfolding. The well-posedness of the microstructure model and the proof of the homogenization asymptotics are the main results of this paper.
