The paper is motivated by an evolution problem, related with population dynamic, involving the Fisher model. The problem of harmonic functions in a bounded regular open set with non-local conditions on the boundary is also related. The point is to get necessary and sufficient conditions on the data, for which a semi-strict monotone solution can be obtained. In a Banach space with a specific geometrical property, some new results are given, in the case of non-smooth boundary conditions, by using semi-groups and interpolation theory.
