In this manuscript, the authors introduce a dynamical model for the chemotherapeutic treatment of low grade gliomas. The system stability and a necessary condition of optimal control based on different objective functionals are investigated. A singular control formula is derived explicitly and some nonlinear programming methods are used to compute the control, state and adjoint variables. This manuscript is well written. The considered problem is quite interesting, and the methods are quite meaningful.
