    The author studies the scalar equation NEWLINE\[NEWLINE-\phi_p(u')'=\lambda\phi_p(u)+h(x,u)+f(x,u,u')NEWLINE\]NEWLINE involving a \(p\)-Laplacian type of differential operator, with Dirichlet boundary conditions, and a nonlinearity \(h(x,u)\) of asymmetric type. When the parameters provide a resonance situation, some Landesman-Lazer type of conditions are assumed to prove the existence of at least one solution to the problem.
