The authors perform an improved numerical algorithm to recover target properties from the analysis of reflected radar signals. The method, based on discrete wavelet transforms, introduces a number of characteristic parameters that recognize the considered target through application of a proposed set-valued model. This identification procedure can also be extended to solving the multi-target problem.
