This paper represents several formulas of second-, third- and fourth-order methods, respectively for numerically solving nonlinear equations. The proposed methods offer a particular advantage for the cases where the traditional Newton's method and its variants of various order may not converge. Further, this approach is also extended to solve a system of nonlinear equations.
