Entropic fluctuations in Gaussian dynamical systems (Q339010)

The authors give an extensive investigation related to the non-equilibrium statistical mechanics of a Gaussian dynamical system. The large deviation functionals of the entropy production observable with respect to the reference state are computed in a closed form. Apart from the detailed mathematical analysis, the results in this work are illustrated on a physical example, namely the one-dimensional harmonic crystal.
