In this article, splines are considered with their degrees \(r\) going to infinity. Concretely, Chebyshev splines are used with a fixed number \(n\) of knots within the unit interval. Their asymptotic behaviour for \(r\to\infty\) (that is, the asymptotics of the splines and their knots) is analysed in particular detail.
