This is an interesting continuation of the first part of this paper [Unif. Distrib. Theory 9, No. 2, 31--57 (2014; Zbl 1384.11083)], where the author and \textit{K. Takashima} studied discrepancies \(D_N\) of irrational rotations with isolated large partial quotients. In the graphical representation of the discrepancy function of these sequences ``parabola-like hills'' occur and this paper gives an insight to this phenomena for a very large range of \(N\).
