The history of Galilean satellites of Jupiter goes back centuries. Of special interest always were periodic orbits and their resonances. Here, some properties of periodical motions near resonant commensurabilities of mean satellite motions are analyzed in the frame of theory having in sights to improve the concordance between the theory and observations.
