Automatic continuity theorems for (purely) decomposable and local linear transformations between certain subspaces of operator algebras are obtained. It is also proved that all left centralizers of the Pedersen ideal of a \(C^*\)-algebra \(A\) are locally bounded if and only if \(A\) has no infinite-dimensional elementary direct summand.
