In this paper, the authors deal with the free cyclic submodules over an associative and unitary ring \(\mathbf R\) which is identical in the context of the projective line. Especially they give some nice results on two topics: free cyclic submodules generated by non-unimodular pairs and rings without non-unimodular free cyclic submodules.
