The author extends several results on topological groups to quotients of topological groups by compact subgroups. In particular, the author proves a dichotomy theorem on remainders of such spaces which generalizes previous results by him on topological groups [\textit{A. V. Arhangel'skii}, Commentat. Math. Univ. Carol. 49, No. 1, 119--126 (2008; Zbl 1212.54086)].
