The author highlights the main techniques they used in a previous paper. In [``Quantum BCOV theory on Calabi-Yau manifolds and the higher genus B-model'', \url{arXiv:1201.4501}], the author and \textit{K. J. Costello} initiated a mathematical analysis of quantum geometry of perturbative BCOV theory based on the effective renormalization method developed by Costello. In this current work, the author outlines the main techniques used in [loc. cit.] focusing on Fock space formalism, and gives an interpretation of Virasoro constraints in the classical and quantum BCOV theory.
