The author considers restrictions of linear functionals, defined on the Lie algebra of an arbitrary semisimple compact Lie group, to an arbitrary orbit of the adjoint action. Some interesting criteria for the criticality and non-degenerated criticality of a point of such a restriction are proved (Theorems 5--7).
