Summary: Certain properties of the S-transform are given and the composition of S-transforms is defined. We study the fractional S-transform on spaces of type \(S\). It is shown that the fractional S-transform is a continuous linear map of the space of type \(S\) defined on \(\mathbb R\) into the space of type \(\tilde{S}\) defined on \(\mathbb R \times (\mathbb R \setminus \{0\})\).
